hello,
i need some help please.i have a very early cr250m engine that has the serial number stamped in a straight line across the block.it has the billet crank in it.my question is will the later style forged/cast crankshaft work fine in this original block or will it cause problems? as you know it is shaped a bit different.thank you for your time!

Mark,

The billet and cast cranks are interchangeable.
If you have a billet crank in good shape, use
it. Billet/forged cranks are stouter than the
cast units.
