Curious mainly about the flywheel / electrics... I'd like to "dual sport" my CR and make it street legal. In Idaho, that means a headlight and tail light. I've got a motor from an '81 ATC 250R along with the complete wiring harness. Will the flywheel / stator fit in the CR? Also just kind of curious, how similar are the rest of the engine- piston / top end, transmission internals? The cases are WAY different, the ATC has a counterbalance sticking way out the front...

no.
and the cylinder and head are different in porting and style, so that the ATC has ~10hp less.
piston and rod are the same.
