Vintage Dirt Bike Q & A

Looking for help more help on this pipe . Based on my Honda motorcycle ID guide. I thinking this is for a MT125 or a MR175? The header pipe and overal dimensions are smaller the supposed Mt250 pipe. There are no mounting tabs, like on the stock pipe. I would like to list her on E-bay and need to sure of the fitment. Thanking you in advance for your time. Art @ Burgers Honda

im thinking there one in the same, but id wait and get another opinion , ive got two MR's but I used the aftermarket pipe on another project and dont seem to have a pic of it fitted on the bike. Id would def lean toward mr175 and try to find out if it also Fit the MT. Im fairly sure its not mr 250.

If the inlet flange I.D. is about 42mm / 1.65", it's definitely not a 250 pipe and most likely for the MT125, MR175, or even the CR125 - however, the long head pipe indicates a low end/midrange pipe, which probably isn't for a 125 motor - so it's probably an MR175 pipe.

I didn't realize DG made an MR175 pipe, but since it seemed like they made pipes for nearly everything else back then, I guess it only makes sense.
