I removed the old fork seals from my 74 mt250, the old seals were really two seals banded together to make one seal. The replacement seals I bought off ebay were just one seal and theres about a 1/16" gap between the seal and cir-clip, not enough room for another seal. wondering if this is the wrong seal or just a universial type seal, it seated good and fits the tube well. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I just looked at the Clymer manual and it has your forks in it. There is only the seal and and then a cir clip, the dust seal is the rubber wipers that fit over the top of the bottom fork body.

Hope that helps..

Kristi
