Hi all! I have recently purchased my 78, CR 250 red rocket and have a few questions for the experts.
Firstly could anyone confirm the correct paint code for the frame and engine? Tahiti red??
Secondly the wheel currently are silver in colour but i like the gold look. Did the 78 have the option of gold rims from new and if so which shade of gold?
Also looking for original side stand.

Any help gratefully received

Woody.

it´s tahitian red. frame glossy, engine satin.
rims were only silver.
only worksbikes had gold rims, or someone bought aftermarket rims, but you can´t get the exact gold colour rims now.

Hi b-joe , thanks for your reply. Is there a paint code for the red or know of a supplier.

Thanks

Woody...I googled honda flash red and a lot of info came up. Vital MX is a source and there appears to be many others too. No shortage of info out there. Try this link, it gives all the Honda paint codes. Good luck with your project.

RAL 2030 is a great match for the frame.
Satin RAL 2030 for the motor, you'll probably have to have that custom mixed for you.

Is the RAL3020 a good match for VMX plastics? I think they are a little darker red than Tahitian red.
