I'll try this again since i had a wonderful post till i lost connection and lost it all.

Anyway as i was saying i have a 1974 MT 125 that has been in a barn for many many yrs unrunning.

I got this bike back around 1976 and rode it many yrs off and on. But due to being run on atf and gas mix i fear the piston is gone. Long story, i'll spare the details.

I am in the process of finding a manual to begin troubleshooting. But it may take awhile to get around to it. I'm in the middle of several other projects right now.

I'll try to get some pics after i get all the yrs of dust washed off. and hopefull the original tubes will hold air long enough to get it rolled back to the shop.

Anyway thanks for a wonderful forum and glad to see other have an interest in these classic bikes.

What is that about midway along the right side of the swingarm? Looks strange. Other than that, it looks like you have a nice core bike to work with.

Keep us posted on your progress and welcome to the forum!

Looks like all you need is a seat cover, nice survivor! The swingarm thing looks like a passenger folding foot peg
