I bought a non running bike, and after looking and reading about the crappy, undependable cdi, I started looking at ebay to replace components.
This won't be cheap even buying used. Are there any models that will interchange like 75,76,77 etc. Or should I just drop 450 on electronic?

Best ignition is PVL. I have them on eBay. CJ Cycle. That is the first thing I replace on all my bikes. They are period correct too as made back in the day. Penton Racing.
