I'd like to know if its safe to climb steep hills in 3rd gear , and if I'm to light to climb hills. I'm 6'2 and 153lbs.

what do you consider steep? i'll hit some hills in 3rd, and be in 1st by the time i'm at the top. some can be pulled entirely in 2nd with a little feathering of the clutch. as far as your weight, just lean forward and hold on.... :D
