Does anyone have any info concerning the flywheel puller for these models? I have looked everywhere and am having no luck at all. I took the bottom end to my local Honda shop, and they had nothing to fit. It seems the flywheel is beefy enough to survive using a generic craftsman flywheel puller through the holes in the back, but just not sure.

To precis a longer thread from the Red Racer board. You need Honda # 07933-KG2-0000. The original puller was 07933-430-0000 but this is discontinued.

Looks perfect. Move this to CR reference?

Unfortunately, the threads on this flywheel require a 'female' puller, not a 'male' puller. The puller Nathan references is a 'male' puller, and while it indeed says it's a puller for the 250R, it is not correct. That puller works fine on a 74 CR125 for instance, where the flywheel mounts in a traditional position and the threads on the flywheel are internal, and accept a 'male' puller.

However, on the 78-90 250R, the flywheel mounts backwards, and the threads are 'external' and require 'female' puller, and that has been my problem. They are not easy at all to find. Indeed, my local Honda shop had over 40 pullers, but not one fit that flywheel.

Michael, thanks for the info. I'll check out the puller you listed with my local dealer.
