 Post subject: CR480R Suspension Mod's

Can anyone recommend any suspension modifications to a 83 CR480? I have the stock suspension, and am pretty sure that it's not going to be a real happy experience when I get it on the track (handling wise).
Thanks!

I have 1983 CR480R forks on my 1979 CR250R and had Race Tech emulators and bushings put in them. I love them, but confess I did not try them before-hand so perhaps the comparison to stock is unfair. On the Red Racer CR Talk forum someone talks of a factory modification to the blow-off valve to make the stock forks more supple. If details are provided, I'll make sure they make their way over here. CR480R owners locally say a stiffer shock spring is needed and I note that Race Tech offers three such springs. I sense at 180lbs before gear I'll need one.
