Got a 75 CR250M1 "rat bike" recently and am going to restore it. Frame's straight, wheels too. New wheel and triple tree bearings so off to a good start. I'm starting to collect Elsie sites for parts/advice. What would be handy is a parts manual and a factory service manual.

My goal is to make something after the resto (unlike the 82 XL500R I just did) so I'm going cheap but good.

Any informed advice welcome.

Tks Bob

P.S. Oh, the reason I'm writing... The shocks on these are supposed to be "rebuildable". Anybody done this? Where are parts found?

If your bike has the original fin type shocks I can rebuild them. As long as the shafts are not bent or rusty. The caps unscrew and the seal inside is replaceable. I don't know if Honda wanted them to be rebuilt...but I figured out how.
