I have a 74 CR125 with a GEM reed valve, and it needs a rebuild. I was surprised to find a ForgedTrue piston with some large ports in the skirt when I removed the cylinder. Does anyone know if this was part of the GEM modification or if it is well beyond that? The piston is a single ring design and it looks like the intake side skirt is much shorter. Is it possible to get a replacement? This one has a crack in the skirt.

Thx
Hans
