Re: 76 MT 250:

I want to remove my clutch to check my basket/plates etc. as Prev. Owner did not maintain bike well and clutch won't work.

Which direction do I need to go to remove the nut on the clutch? Lefty Loosey/Rightey Tightey?

Also, would someone please share the crankcase oil capacity for this model.

Thanks

W.R. :?

All the clutches I have worked on were standard threads. The nut is normally secured with a tab washer so you will need gently bend the tab back down flat before you try and loosen the nut. I use a Motion Pro clutch holder to hold the basket while undoing the nut. Good luck!
