Vintage Dirt Bike Q & A

Guys......I've got a new to me 82 cr 125, the seat on it is blue and extends to the gas cap. Is this the correct seat? Ive seen pics with black seats that stop at the seat\tank junction, is this the 81 seat? Also, is there any frame paint out there for the 82? (would prefer rattle can) she'll be for go...not show.

The 1983 had the blue seat also called the safety seat. The 1981 & 82 had a black seat that stopped at the tank. The graphics may have been a little differen't too.

As far as paint goes, any good quality spray paint or Powder Coat!
