Hi everyone,
I have the opportunity to pick up a 2002 CR250 that was underwater during a Florida flood. This is an insurance auction so I can't find out very much about the condition of the bike. I have loads of photos and they all look fine. On the outside the bike looks great.

My question is, how bad could the bike's engine be? It was submerged in salt water. What would be a good price for this bike?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'd be careful on this one...What looks like a good deal up front can cost you a boatload down the road...Saltwater intrusion, if not dealt with right away is hell on bearings, electrics, uncoated metal(internal parts)etc. If bought very cheap it may be good for parts.el
