For my 78 CR250 I am looking for upper roller, lower roller, air filter, and an airbox lid. Now that red-racer.com isnt legit, I don't know where to get these? Is elsinores.com legit, and is there any other stores similair online? Also possibly looking at buying pipe and silencer. Any help appreciated! Thanks

http://www.westernhillshonda.com and http://www.cmsnl.com may be able to help, although I would start with your local Honda dealer. They may have your air filter. You will find it near impossible to locate NOS plastic and rubber parts, so keep looking on eBay for the lid now Red Racer is toast. For the rollers you can use Moose Racing ones and make them fit. However for the rear I would recommend a complete roller-less chain guide from http://www.jastco.com. For a pipe and silencer go to http://www.pro-formracing.com or http://www.elsinores.com.

Hi,

I believe you can still order the air filter element from Honda. They still have some parts for the Redrockets.. I wouldn't pay high eBay prices for parts you can still get from Honda for ex.-the countershaft sprocket fixing plate.. its a 2 dollar part from the dealers and I see them sell from 12-26$$$ on ebay.. Honda hase plenty of them!!!

Thanks for your post red rocket. This has helped me a lot.

I agree about eBay. Far too many cowboys charging skyhigh prices on there.

Hi,

The truth & fact is that ebay buyers (bidders) are responsible for skyhigh ebay Redrocket OEN NOS parts..

The ebay sellers most of the time are offering NOS Honda parts still available from Honda that anyone with the wherewithal could order from Honda for a fraction of the high ebay price..

The ebay sellers are actually not responsible for those skyhigh prices. Most of the time the sellers only have access to the most common parts to offer - stuff that anyone could get.

 ..now the rare, discontinued NOS parts are another story.. parts you will "rarely" these ebay sellers auctioning!
