Does anyone know if the stator from a MT125 will work in a MR175. They look very similar and have one extra set of windings. Probably a dumb question, but Im grabbing for straws. I need a stator and coil for a 76 MR175 if anyone may have one. Thanks

On the MR, 1 coil is for the ign. and the other is for the lights. On the MT, the third is for charging system (I believe). MT doesn't use a battery so there is no need for the third coil. if your not running lights you dont need the second either. In my opinion (for what it's worth) put it in. Whatcha' gotta loose!

Well for what its worth the MT stator worked in the MR. Pretty Cool.

I have a boat load of MR175 used stuff, will sell it pretty cheap if someone wants to come after it, I am in the Atlanta area. May even have a couple of new parts left, I sold most of it.

You wouldnt happen to have the Headlight assembly, speedo and cable, or the Tail light assembly? If so, would you be willing to ship? Thanks
