I have located what seems to be the closest match to the red mag wire coming out the of left crank case. This wire is 14 ga. and wrapped in a red cotton liner. It seem to be a dead on match and could very well work for other bikes. I found this at Skycraft parts and supplies in Orlando, Florida. phone 407-628-5634 Ask for Chris #4 extension and tell him your looking the red cotton wire for motorcycles . I think it is .10 cents a foot. Good luck! [/b]

I measured my nos ignition wire and it between 2 and 2.5 mm....I think this equates to about 20 or 22 guage...Measure your wire with calipers and see what you have..Remember,the higher the gauge #,the thinner the wire.el

I looked at my original wire and what I found is larger but within realm of usable. I think the original is either 16 or 18 . Food for thought and good luck!
