Bought a 75mt250 that had oil injector system removed.WHAT is correct oil/gas mix? Also bike has air valves on top of front forks. IS this standard equipment?thanks for any info.

32:1 is pretty much the standard gas:oil mix. I prefer something like Bel-Ray mixed at higher ratios and have been using Husqavarna 2 stroke oil at 50:1 lately. Practically no smoke with a modern synthetic oil mixed in high ratios.

The fork air caps was a common mod during that period. Friend that used to race back then said he would sometimes take out the springs and run with nothing but air. I have a MT with them but have never put air in them as I figure it can't be good for the seals.
