Great footage! Brought back some good memories. Steve Mcqueen was another
one that left us too soon.

The safety equipment was derigeurs for the time. The Bell Magnum RT helmet,
Carrera goggles, Hallman Gloves and leathers and SIDI Full Bore boots with the
socks rolled over the top. The only items missing were the Jofa mouth guard,
Gold Belt kidney belt and the Hallman chest protector (probably reserved for
actual racing).

The only thing I have left from that list are my Full Bore boots, I managed to lose
everything else over the years. I actually still like my Full Bores more than any
boot I have owned since including the Alpinestars Tech 10s I use now. And I felt
a lot safer wearing my Hallman leathers than the synthetic pants we wear now.
