Hi, sometimes after my bike is warmed up and I stop and go into neutral it will gradually stall out. It only does this after its warmed up and never happens unless Im stoped or stoping for over a couple seconds. What could be causing this?
Another question is about my fuel oil ratio. I use Valvoline 2 cycle oil. I also noticed none of the other brands say the ratio for 1 gallon of 20:1. The plastic jug does not say what 20:1 should be but only says what 16:1 is ( 8 oz for 1 gallon). How should I figure out what 20:1 should be? I've just been useing 7.5 oz in it for now but thats probably rich.
Other than that the bike has been great and I've ridden it quite alot. Thanks for any help you can offer.
You will not be running rich, the more oil you use the less fuel so effectively your a little leaner, with modern oils a 125 will happily run at 40:1 its quite the norm, I raced a 1980 CR125 at 40:1 for years with no problems, you may have to adjust the jetting a little perhaps a little leaner.
Oh have you checked you spark plug after its stalled out ? If its all oily you may have a clutch side crank seal gone.
