How do you set the timing with the adjustable mag cover?

If you want stock timing, use the dowel to pin the cover in the stock position.

Looking at the bike from the right-hand ignition side, the crank is rotating clockwise so I assume turning the rotor cover counter-clockwise advances the ignition and vice versa.

...and no racing is out until either of my motors are re-built. I am racing my '07 CR500R instead.
